Refund Policy

Last updated 14 September 2026

The short version

If the letter is not right, email contact@planningobjection.com within 48 hours of receiving it and we will refund the full £50. You do not need to justify it to us.

How to ask

Email us from the address you ordered with, or quote the planning reference. That is all we need to find the order.

Refunds go back to the card you paid with. We process them as soon as we see the email, and your bank usually shows the money within five to ten working days.

If something went wrong at our end

Two cases where you do not need to ask at all, because we will come to you.

We could not finish your letter. If the pipeline fails, we email you and either fix it or refund you.

We held your letter back. We check every quotation and policy reference against the source documents. If a draft contains something we cannot stand behind, we do not send it. We tell you, and you can wait for a corrected version or take a refund straight away. An objection that gets picked apart by the case officer is worse than no objection at all.

How this sits with your legal rights

Buying online normally gives you 14 days to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Because we write the letter within minutes of payment, we ask you at checkout to agree to us starting immediately, and to acknowledge that you give up that 14 day right once the letter has been produced. That is explained in full in our terms.

The 48 hour refund above is what we offer instead, and it is deliberately simpler: no reason needed. Neither that nor the waiver affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if the service was not carried out with reasonable care and skill.

What we will not refund

We cannot refund because a council granted permission. We research and draft an objection that engages the policies the officer must apply, which obliges them to deal with it in their report. No service can make a council refuse an application, and we say so before you pay.
